Want to switch to VoIP telephony but still have questions? We are happy to help you with the most frequently asked questions about switching to VoIP telephony.

  • Is my Internet strong enough?

VoIP telephony uses much less bandwidth than most people think. For a call, you should count on about 0.128 Mbps. A standard Internet connection in Belgium is between 40 and 100 Mbps.

So a lot depends on how many users you wish to make calls with at the same time. But if you have less than 50 users, a standard Internet subscription is certainly sufficient to make quality VoIP calls.

  • Do I need to buy new phones?

If you are not currently calling VoIP you will indeed have to change your existing phones. Count on about €125 to purchase a good IP phone.

Don't wish to use any more telephones? That too is perfectly possible! You can make calls via the computer or via the smartphone app. Then you receive all your calls on your laptop or cell phone without investing in a fixed or portable device.

  • Can I keep my current phone numbers?

Of course, you can keep your current phone numbers as usual. Customers will continue to call you on your familiar phone number(s).
